Standard Roth and MBT prescriptions do not always match every customer’s orthodontic system. In this project, the customer selected the Prime Series but required different torque values for several tooth positions.
The customized 5–5 set uses a .022" archwire slot. Only the requested torque values were changed. The existing angulation, in-out, bracket width, hook configuration, and overall bracket design were retained.
Prime Series bracket bodies are individually manufactured from 17-4 stainless steel through CNC precision machining and use an 80-gauge mesh bonding base. By updating the geometric and machining data for the selected bracket bodies, SINO ORTHO incorporated the required torque values without changing the established material, construction, or remaining specifications.
The resulting configuration does not correspond exactly to a standard Roth or MBT prescription. The accompanying specification shows the final values confirmed for each tooth position.
Bracket samples were produced according to the revised torque requirements and sent to the customer for confirmation. Following approval, the customer placed a bulk order for the completed bracket set.
The packaging retained the SINO ORTHO logo, while the layout, specification information, and other visual elements were redesigned for this project.
Similar OEM/ODM projects can be evaluated for different torque values, slot sizes, tooth positions, hook configurations, set compositions, and packaging requirements.
Can torque values be customized for selected bracket positions?
Yes. For qualified OEM/ODM projects, SINO ORTHO can evaluate tooth-specific torque requirements and adjust the corresponding CNC machining data.
Which specifications were retained in this project?
The existing angulation, in-out, bracket width, hook configuration, slot size, material, and overall Prime Series design were retained. Only the requested torque values were changed.
Is this customized prescription a standard retail option?
No. This configuration was developed for a specific customer order. Similar torque and packaging requirements can be evaluated as custom OEM/ODM projects.
