Extra-Large Lingual Button with Enlarged Bonding Base

Some orthodontic customers require a larger lingual button than conventional specifications, particularly when additional bonding area and easier elastic engagement are preferred.

Larger Base and Engagement Head

Based on a customer's requirements, SINO ORTHO enlarged both the mesh base and the engagement head while retaining the original material and manufacturing process.

The dimensions were increased from 4 × 3 × 2.15 mm for the standard version to 7.8 × 4 × 4.4 mm for the extra-large version.

The wider base provides more available bonding area and is designed to support more secure retention. The increased overall height and larger engagement head also make it easier to attach orthodontic elastics during treatment.

Both versions use a mesh bonding base, allowing customers to select the size that better matches their clinical preferences and product range.

From Custom Request to Standard Option

The extra-large lingual button was originally developed in response to a specific customer request. Following its development, the customer proceeded with bulk purchasing.

This configuration is now available as a regular product specification from SINO ORTHO. Additional dimensions, base designs, packaging, and private-label requirements can also be evaluated through our OEM/ODM service.
